Marjan Rafeii, M.S. CCC SLP has been working as a speech therapist in private practice specializing in pediatrics and specific difficulties presented in adults. She has been a prominent speech therapist in the Los Angeles & Beverly Hills area for over a decade. Marjan is a Licensed and Board Certified Speech and Language Pathologist. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In this capacity, she has worked extensively with patients presenting with mild to severe delays and disorders. This includes evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and parent training. Her past experiences include working for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, public schools, The H.E.L.P Group, and home-based settings. She had the opportunity to work in Acute Care and manage adult patients in terms of diagnostic procedures and treatment plans. She has planned and conducted speech/language therapy sessions and assessments for children presenting with various syndromes (i.e., Down syndrome, Noonan syndrome), receptive/expressive language disorders, auditory memory deficits, vocal nodules, and hearing loss. In addition, she has provided services for children and adolescents with learning disabilities and social/communication disabilities (i.e., Autism, Aspergers). Her work with the adult population has focused on stuttering/dysfluency and accent reduction. She provides in-services for educators, pediatricians, other professionals, and parents groups. These experiences are supported by a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders.
